Lifelong Learning


The goal of the Moorhead Area Education Foundation is to build an endowment fund of $1,152,000. Only the interest from these endowed funds will be awarded each year, ensuring the perpetuity of the fund.

By sending your gift or pledge today, students in our community can immediately benefit from the education foundation. Gifts, memorials and membership pledges may be made in any amount. Gifts of stock, real estate or other assets may also be donated. Gifts should be made payable to or property transferred to Moorhead Area Education Foundation at PO Box 1006, Moorhead, MN 56561-1006. Please contact the Foundation for further information.

Donors of $552 or more become members of the M-552 Club. M-552 members are recognized for their contribution and receive newsletters on the activities of the Moorhead Area Education Foundation.

Membership types include:

M-552 Club -- $552 or $152 now and $100 a year for four years
Sponsor -- $1,000 or $200 now and $200 a year for four years
Leader -- $2,500 or $500 now and $500 a year for four years
Scholar -- $5,000 or $1,000 now and $1,000 a year for four years
Heritage -- $10,000 or more, given as determined by donor

A contribution of $10,000 or more allows Moorhead Area Education Foundation to provide a named perpetual grant. These grants are made in the name of the donor, their organization, business or designee. Donors may designate their gift to enhancement programs or scholarships.
