Get a Catalog

Need a catalog? Request one at communityeducation@moorheadschools.org.

Online Registration Procedures

Step 1: From the Course Offerings page.

Step 2: On the course listings page, select the class category to view all classes in that section (i.e. Cooking or Recreation & Fitness).

Step 3: Pick a class.

Step 4: Click on “Enroll Yourself” or “Enroll Your Child or Someone Else.”

Please note that when registering your child for a class, the registration must be made using your child's name and birth date.

Step 5: Log on by entering the email address you have provided to Community Education. If you do not know which, if any, email address has been used, please contact the Community Education office at 218-284-3400.

The first time you log in, you will need to use a public password that will be the first letter of your first name and the first letter of your last name followed by your zip code (i.e. John Smith of Moorhead, MN will use js56560). You will then be prompted to create a new password. After this point, the public password will no longer be used when logging in.

The same email address may be used as the login for more than one person (or child) as long as the passwords are unique. You may log in as a different person using the same email address and the other person's public password, and you will again be prompted to create a unique password for the second user. Please note that in order for the login to work properly, the email address must be listed in the person's record.

Step 6: After your new password has been created, you may continue with the online registration. At this point you may add additional classes for the person who is logged in, add an additional person to a class (for which you would need that person's ID number) or choose to finish the registration, where you'll be asked to enter your payment information and submit.

Questions?

Call 218-284-3400 during office hours, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or e-mail communityeducation@moorheadschools.org.

Register Early

Register early so you won't be disappointed. Often classes reach the maximum enrollment early. Also, classes depend on minimum enrollments. Don't take a chance your class may be canceled.

Are you in?

Yes - unless you hear from us. No class confirmations are sent. Simply show up for the class and enjoy!

Inclement Weather

If Moorhead schools are canceled, Community Education classes are canceled as well. Check the district's website for announcements or listen to a local TV or radio station.

Special Accommodations

If you have needs requiring special services (i.e. access to elevators, sign language interpreters, etc.), indicate your need on the personal data or call Community Education, 218-284-3400.

Scholarship Information

A limited number of scholarships are available to school district residents demonstrating extreme financial need. These scholarships may include Community Education classes and activities. They do not apply to Driver Education. Application forms are available at the Community Education office.

High School Students

Students are welcome to register for classes that don't have an age limit.

Cancellations

If you have to cancel, we can give a full credit voucher or refund only if you notify the Community Education Office (218-284-3400) at least 24 hours prior to the first class meeting. Refunds after a class has begun will be given only in extreme circumstances and will be subject to a $5 processing fee. In the unlikely event your class is canceled, we will give a full refund.
