Welcome

Welcome to Moorhead Early Childhood Family Education! ECFE is a program for every family with young children birth to kindergarten entry offered by Community Education, a program of Moorhead Area Public Schools. Families from Moorhead, Fargo, West Fargo and the surrounding areas are all welcome to attend ECFE classes.

ECFE is based on the idea that the family provides a child's first and most important learning environment, and parents are a child's first and most significant teachers. ECFE works to strengthen families and support parents in providing the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of all children. Our licensed and experienced teachers keep up to date on the latest research on early brain development, parent-child relationships, child development and guidance techniques. They provide useful and practical information to parents and families. Read more.
