Roger O. Pitsenbarger

Roger Pitsenbarger graduated from Moorhead High School in 1939. While in high school, he participated in band, orchestra, football, basketball and baseball. He attended Concordia College in Moorhead, University of Minnesota, and in 1943 received a bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University. He earned a Jurist Degree from the University of North Dakota Law School in 1947.
Pitsenbarger is owner of Kordel, Inc. He has been involved in numerous area businesses including Transport, Inc., Nokken and Ryan Motors, Hillsboro Auto, Flowers by Marty, and Gold Crown Billiards. He continues to be involved in Regency Companies, Lexus Development Company, and Kordel.
In the past, Pitsenbarger has served on the Trinity Lutheran Church Foundation Board, the board of Bio-Medicus and the Concordia College Board of Regents. He has generously contributed to many community organizations and was one of the major contributors to the Moorhead High School football stadium fund. He also provided contributions to the high school theater’s sound system.
Roger is married to Elsie Pitsenbarger. He has six children, Jeff Pitsenbarger, Beth Colman, Joan Kath, Kay Carvey, Mark Pitsenbarger and Lisa Kirkpatrick, and 17 grandchildren. He lives in Fargo, North Dakota.
