Three Moorhead High students named National Merit finalists

March 2, 2016

Moorhead High School students Brian Craig, Stefan Duginski and Alexander Volk have been named finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Approximately 15,000 finalists have been named from the 16,000 semifinalists recognized nationwide earlier this school year. About 1.5 million juniors entered the 2016 National Merit Program by taking the 2014 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Finalists receive a certificate of merit and will continue in the competition for more than 7,400 National Merit Scholarships that will be offered this spring.
