Moorhead High schedules FAFSA Night for seniors and their parents

March 17, 2016

Moorhead High School will host FAFSA Night, a free workshop to help MHS students and families fill out the 2016-2017 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the federally required application for financial aid. The workshop will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, March 21, in the library media center at Moorhead High School.

FAFSA Night at Moorhead High offers different options for families seeking assistance, including computer support to complete the FAFSA online and one-one-one assistance from financial aid experts.

To prepare for the event and to allow Moorhead High staff to provide senior students and families with adequate arrangements and resources, all participants are encouraged to register in advance with Debbie Grant.

For those seeking assistance filling out the FAFSA at the workshop, students and parents should EACH bring:
  • FAFSA ID (user names and passwords – available at www.fsaid.ed.gov)
  • Social Security Number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Most recent federal tax return
  • 2015 W-2 or year-end pay stub
  • Bank Statements
  • Business and investment records
  • Alien registration card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
