First Spud Award presented for kindergarten teacher leadership

December 16, 2013

The first Superintendent’s Spud Award was presented Dec. 9 to kindergarten teachers Su Botner and Deb Dawson, S.G. Reinertsen/Probstfield Elementary, Colleen Geffe-Dahle, Robert Asp Elementary, and Megan Hilleren, Ellen Hopkins Elementary, for their distinguished service and leadership. This team of teachers has provided leadership during the summer and this fall in planning and implementing the district’s all-day kindergarten program.

The superintendent of Moorhead Area Public Schools presents the Superintendent’s Spud Award to employees, students, parents and community members who display exceptional performance in the areas of distinguished service, leadership, customer service and innovation.
