The wrestlers advance to the state team quarterfinals at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Moorhead (20-3) will compete against number-two ranked St. Michael-Albertville (23-3). The team semifinals and finals will follow.

Besides qualifying for state as a team, Moorhead High qualified the following individuals: Grant Brendemuhl at 106 pounds, Kenny Mark at 132, Joseph Grove at 160 and Samuel Grove at 170. The state individual tournament is Feb. 28-March 1.
