Musician provides lesson on trumpets for Probstfield kindergarten students

April 5, 2017

Last month, Nate Mattison, a performer and composer in the Fargo-Moorhead area, talked about and played several trumpets for kindergarten students at Probstfield Elementary School. During his presentations, Mattison, who earned his degree in trumpet performance from Concordia College, was joined by Andrew Eklund, Probstfield Elementary music teacher, for a trumpet duet. The Trumpet Day performances were scheduled to expose kindergarten students to musical instruments and concert etiquette through hands-on learning.
