Moorhead team competes at DI Global Finals

A Moorhead Destination Imagination team advanced to Global Finals last month after qualifying at the 2017 Minnesota Affiliate Destination Imagination Tournament.

The Moorhead High School DI Team Snrocinu Wobniar placed first in the senior level of the project outreach challenge Ready, Willing and Fable at the state DI tournament held April 22. The team qualified to advance to Global Finals on May 24-27 in Knoxville, Tenn., where they placed 18th out of about 55 teams.

Snrocinu Wobniar team members are Maren Twedt, Emma Craig, Rachel Craig and Lydia Flaspohler. Team manager is Heidi Twedt.

Additionally, the four Moorhead students received the DIstinguished Leader Award at the 2017 Minnesota tournament. The DIstinguished Leader Award recognizes exceptional accomplishment, dedication, innovation, leadership and performance in service of Minnesota’s Destination Imagination program.
