We Are Proud: 2016-17 SpotLight Musical Theatre Program

We Are Proud of Moorhead High’s fall musical “Little Shop of Horrors” for being recognized with Hennepin Theatre Trust’s highest honors in the 2016-17 SpotLight Musical Theatre Program. The company was awarded outstanding overall production, outstanding overall performance, outstanding ensemble performance, outstanding vocal performance by an ensemble, outstanding acting performance by an ensemble, outstanding dance performance by an ensemble, outstanding student orchestra, outstanding overall technical team, and honorable mention technical crew.  
 
Individual Spotlight acting awards went to Sarah Schulz and Devon Solwold for outstanding performance in a leading role and Izzy Larson, Ariana Grollman and Jessica Anderson for outstanding performance in a supporting role. McKensie Bedore and Jason Daniels received honorable mentions. Evaluator recognition went to Kenan Stoltenow, Alex Church, Jaxon Dewald, Konner Doucette and Jacob Fuder. Rebecca Meyer-Larson directed “Little Shop of Horrors.” Moorhead High students was honored at the SpotLight Showcase on June 12, 2017, at the historic State Theatre.
