Moorhead High wins season’s first home football game 28-7

September 15, 2017

Moorhead High School’s Clay Riveland punts the ball for a point after a touchdown during the first half of the football game against Sauk Rapids-Rice at Jim Gotta Stadium on Sept. 8. The Spuds outscored the Storm after a slow start that saw only one scoring drive in the first half. The Spuds held the Storm to one scoring drive late in the third quarter and finally found their stride scoring 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.

Moorhead High will play St. Cloud Tech at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15 at St. John’s University.
