September 21, 2017

Moorhead High School senior running back Otis Weah flies over the goal line as he scores his second touchdown during the football game against St. Cloud Tech Tigers at St. John’s University on Sept. 15. Weah broke many tackles as he worked his way up the sidelines culminating with his push over the goal line. Weah also scored on the opening kickoff of the game.

The Spuds, who were ahead at halftime, held off the Tech Tigers, who scored in the third quarter to cut Moorhead’s lead to four points. Moorhead won 18-14.

The 2-1 Spuds will travel to Bemidji for their yearly rivalry against the 2-1Lumberjacks on Friday, Sept. 22.
