Moorhead High boys soccer improves to 9-2 this season

Moorhead High School’s Abdifatah Ibrahim battles for the ball during boys soccer action against Bismarck Century at Jim Gotta Stadium on Sept. 16. Ibrahim scored a goal with an assist from team captain Clay Riveland (not pictured) with a little over three minutes remaining in the game to move the Spuds ahead of Bismarck. The Spuds held on to win 3-2.
With the win, the team improved its record to 9-2 for the season. The Spuds will play their next three games out of town. The Moorhead High boys soccer team returns to Jim Gotta Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 28 to play its final home game before tournament action begins.
