Moorhead High boys basketball falls in home game

December 19, 2017

Moorhead High School guard Eli Larson (10) goes in for two points during the boys basketball game against St Michael Albertville Dec. 9 at Moorhead High School. Larson was heavily covered by tall STMA players during the hard-fought loss to the Knights.

Coach Tyler Bormann said this year’s team has steadily improved. “We’ve developed in many facets as a team and yet we know there are many areas we can continue to improve in as we aim to play our best basketball in early March,” Bormann said.

The Spuds played away last week and return home to play against Red River at 6 p.m. Dec. 21. Both the boys and girls basketball teams will have tournament action play during winter break Dec. 28-29 at Moorhead High School. Times will be listed at http://www.moorheadcalendars.org/public/.
