Moorhead High annual holiday concerts feature hundreds of musicians

December 21, 2017

The Moorhead High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble performs “12 Days of Christmas,” a humorous a cappella mashup of several songs arranged by Straight No Chaser, during the Dec. 18 holiday concerts. Pictured are Ariana Grollman, Luke Seidel, Ella Halgrimson, Jacob Fuder, Evyn Judisch, Sophie Rootham, Hope Stromsodt, Lance Morlock, Annamaria Davies, and Dylan Stage.

Fifteen groups performed for a full house during the three concert times with up to 300 student musicians on stage at a time. The concerts included 270 choir students, 150 band students, and 280 orchestra students representing the music department in various groups (some are multiple-discipline musicians).
