Register for Moorhead Community Education winter classes

The new Moorhead Community Education winter catalog, which mailed Jan. 2, 2018, includes more than 200 learning opportunities for people of all ages and interests.
Winter classes include lefse making and other cooking classes; yoga, MELT, dancing, self-defense and fitness classes; beginning harmonica, painting and other arts and music classes; chalky painting, knitting, crochet and craft classes; online classes you can take from home; and American Sign Language, Pollinator Habitat Workshop, Making Pet Treats, investment classes, and many more.
The Choices program for adults with disabilities is offering fitness, cooking and craft classes.
Youth classes include Leader-Licous for girls in grades 3-4, PODS Creating Video Games for grades 3-4, Art Camp for grades 5-6, self-defense, fitness classes, and more.
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) began taking registrations for winter classes in December. Classes for parents and children ages infants through kindergarten entry include Family Fun, Llama Llama Stories, Gym Fun, Family Fun with Big Books, and more
These ECFE classes and more are listed in the winter Parenting Press newsletter and Community Education catalog. Classes are open to all residents of Moorhead, Fargo, West Fargo and the surrounding area.
Moorhead residents and past participants receive a catalog in the mail. Moorhead residents with children ages birth to kindergarten entry who are on the school district census receive Parenting Press.
