Register for Moorhead Community Education spring classes

The new Moorhead Community Education spring catalog, which mailed March 16, includes more than 200 learning opportunities for people of all ages and interests.

Spring and summer classes include Healthy Soils for Healthy Plants, Square Foot Gardening and other home and garden classes; Windows 10, Microsoft Excel and other computer classes; pasta making, cake decorating, and other cooking classes; golf, dance, yoga, MELT and fitness classes; chalky painting, mending and craft classes; drawing, painting, calligraphy and other arts and music classes; online classes you can take from home; writing and investment classes; and Local Foods Mystery Tour, Beginning Birding, Rourke Art Academy classes, and many more.

Youth classes include Smashing Double Dutch, video game design, Kung Fu Kids, Rourke Art Academy classes, and more.
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) began taking registrations for spring classes on March 16. Classes for parents and children ages infants through kindergarten entry include Family Fun, Busy Bodies and Summer Fun. These ECFE classes and more are listed in the spring Parenting Press newsletter and Community Education catalog. Classes are open to all residents of Moorhead, Fargo, West Fargo and the surrounding area.

Moorhead residents and past participants receive a catalog in the mail. Moorhead residents with children ages birth to kindergarten entry who are on the school district census receive Parenting Press.
