Metro Tech Camp held June 6-7, 2018

June 6, 2018

The 2018 Metro Tech Camp, the largest technology camp for educators in the region, begins Wednesday, June 6, at Horizon Middle School in Moorhead. The two-day camp is a collaborative effort among area public school districts, including Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Schools, Fargo Public Schools, Moorhead Area Public Schools and West Fargo Public Schools.

Metro Tech Camp is designed to connect teachers and administrators, sharing 21st century instructional and learning strategies with one another. Educators will be introduced to new software applications, tools and practices that will enhance the teaching and learning environment in their classrooms.

The 2018 camp includes 200 breakout sessions facilitated by area teachers and administrators, including 10 self-guided virtual sessions taught online.

More than 500 individuals are expected to attend Metro Tech Camp on June 6-7.

A separate series of 12 EdVentures are designed to connect educators with the business community.
