Moorhead Area Public Schools provides free summer meals for youth

June 8, 2018

Moorhead Area Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program for 2018. Meals will be provided to all children in the Moorhead area, ages 1-18, free of charge. Children may eat at any site.

Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

Moorhead High School, 2300 4th Ave. S.
June 11-July 26, 7:45-8:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Thursday

Mobile Sites (mobile sites will close in case of extreme weather conditions such as thunderstorm or excessive heat):
Arrowhead Park, 2600 6th Ave. N., June 12-Aug. 10, 11:30 a.m.-noon Monday-Friday

Queens Park, 3201 20th St. S., June 12-Aug. 10, 12:15-12:45 p.m. Monday-Friday

Additionally students may purchase meals from June 12-Aug. 10 at Horizon Middle School East Campus, 3601 12th Ave. S. This is not part of the summer meal program. Students would need money in their lunch accounts to purchase meals; free and reduced price meals would continue for eligible students. Breakfast will be available from 7:30-8:15 a.m. and lunch will be available from noon-12:30 p.m. at Horizon East.

All sites are closed the week of July 2-6. Dates and times are subject to change.
