Moorhead School District holding substitute training

August 7, 2018

Moorhead Area Public Schools is looking for interested candidates to apply for open substitute positions as teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians and food service workers for the 2018-19 school year.

Applications can be completed at www.moorheadschools.org (select Employment). Substitute orientation will be held multiple times in August, and qualified applicants will receive information via the email address provided on their application.

Substitute orientation will provide information about working for the school district as well as the district’s Substitute Employee Management System (SEMS). All payroll paperwork will be completed at this time. All new substitutes are asked to bring proper identification and documentation required for employment eligibility. A Minnesota background check is required at hire ($43), with the exception of newly licensed teachers in Minnesota.

Those who subbed last year and are interested in subbing again this year do not need to attend the orientation, but must return their profile document to be listed as a current substitute.

Substitutes should contact Kayla Evenson at 218-284-3354 for more information.
