Register for Moorhead Community Education winter classes

The new Moorhead Community Education winter catalog includes more than 200 learning opportunities for people of all ages and interests. Classes are open to residents who live within and outside the metro area.

Winter classes include kombucha and other cooking classes; drawing, painting and other arts and music classes; meditation, yoga, MELT, dancing, self-defense and fitness classes; knitting and craft classes; online classes you can take from home; and Beginning Memoir, Pollinator Habitat Workshop, Cat Fishing, investment classes, and many more.

The Choices program for adults with disabilities is offering fitness, cooking and craft classes.

Youth classes include Kung Fu Kids, ACT Prep, Beginning Storytelling for grades 3-6, PODS Video Game Design for grades 5-12, Art Camp for grades 5-6, self-defense, knitting, Elementary Track Camp, and more.

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) began taking registrations for winter classes in December. Classes for parents and children ages infants through kindergarten entry include Family Connections, Joyful Parenting, Learning with Nature, and more. These ECFE classes and others are listed in the winter Parenting Press newsletter and Community Education catalog. ECFE classes are open to all residents of Moorhead, Fargo, West Fargo and the surrounding area.

Moorhead residents and past participants receive a catalog in the mail. Moorhead residents with children ages birth to kindergarten entry who are on the school district census receive Parenting Press.
