All-city orchestra concert features more than 800 musicians

More than 800 orchestra students in Moorhead Area Public Schools performed at the May 13 all-city orchestra concert. A crowd of more than 2,500 listened to the grades 5-12 students play at Concordia College’s Memorial Auditorium.
Moorhead High’s Symphony and Chamber Orchestras will perform at 7:30 p.m. May 30 in the Moorhead High auditorium. The Freshman Orchestra will perform with the Varsity Choir and Concert Band at 7:30 p.m. June 3 at Moorhead High. The middle school orchestras will perform final concerts on June 3 in the Horizon Performing Arts Center. The grade 6 orchestra concert begins at 6 p.m., with the grade 7 concert at 7 p.m. and the grade 8 concert at 8 p.m.
