Moorhead students compete at Special Olympics track meet

May 23, 2019

Horizon Middle School’s Owen Anderson, flanked by his dad Nathan Anderson and paraprofessional Abbra Olson, sings the national anthem at the opening of the Special Olympics track and field meet held May 15 at Moorhead High. Eight communities participated in the games.

Moorhead High’s Jordan Vos wins the 100-meter run for his division. He also participated in the shot put, standing long jump and 400-meter run.

Moorhead’s Cullen Durand wins the 25-meter motorized wheelchair race at the Special Olympics track meet.

Tate St. Louis from Horizon Middle School West Campus tosses the tennis ball during the tennis ball throw. St. Louis also participated in the 100-meter run and the 100-meter relay.
