Moorhead High Class of 2019 graduates June 2

June 4, 2019

The Moorhead High School Class of 2019 graduated June 2 during commencement at Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Nemzek Hall.

The Wind Ensemble under the direction of Pam Redlinger performed before playing the processional “Pomp and Circumstance.”

Opening remarks were made by Natalie Cook and Mallory Lee. Class speaker was Zachary Van Raden.

The Chorale under the direction of Kathie Brekke sang “Be Thou My Vision,” a traditional Irish song arr. Connor Smith.

Principal Dave Lawrence presented the class for graduation, and the seniors received their diplomas from members of the Moorhead School Board. Lawrence reminded the graduates that “once a Spud, always a Spud.”

Closing remarks were made by Christian Elmer and Elizabeth Rosson before the Class of 2019 was dismissed.
