Area educators learn at Metro Tech Camp
June 18, 2019
More than 960 employees from area school districts attended Metro Tech Camp hosted by Moorhead Area Public Schools on June 5-7 at Horizon Middle School Campus.
The 2019 Metro Tech Camp, the largest technology camp for educators in the region, is a collaborative effort among area public school districts, including Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Schools, Fargo Public Schools, Moorhead Area Public Schools and West Fargo Public Schools.
Metro Tech Camp is designed to connect teachers and administrators, sharing 21st century instructional and learning strategies with one another. Educators were introduced to new software applications, tools and practices that will enhance the teaching and learning environment in their classrooms. Other sessions focused on project-based learning, literacy, and building relationships.
The 2019 camp included 172 session topics in 333 breakout sessions facilitated by area teachers and administrators, including 14 self-guided virtual sessions taught online.
