Moorhead High homecoming king and queen crowned

September 25, 2019

Jonah Hanson and Taylor Melton were named Moorhead High School’s homecoming king and queen at coronation on Sept. 23.

Members of the homecoming court as pictured are:
Front: Kai Holm, Lucas Feir, Cassidy Wendt, Claire Howell, King Jonah Hanson, Queen Taylor Melton, Jordan Carlson, Greta Almlie, Claire Fahrendorf, Jenna Schroeder, Hailey Hedlund and Megan Haugo; and
Back: Jalen Ennen, Wyatt Gunkel, Carter Johnson, Grant Gervais, Tukker Hammer, Luke Gramer, Caden Howell and Parker Wood.

Moorhead High School’s homecoming parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27. The parade begins on 20th Street South at 24th Avenue South and will end at 12th Avenue South.

The homecoming football game against Sartell will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 27 with the dance following.

The Moorhead High School Hall of Honor induction ceremony to induct Cathy Sue Carlson, Kathy Coyle, Chad R. Sundem and Dave Thune is at 5 p.m. Sept. 28 at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Call the activities office at 218-284-2346 for tickets.
