Moorhead High volleyball team tops DGF

Moorhead High’s Sam Zimmerman goes up to spike the ball during the volleyball matchup against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Sept. 24. The Spuds won in three sets.
Zimmerman led the team with 10 kills while Jalen Ennen and Claire Howell each added six kills. Ennen had 10 digs for the Spuds. Alexa Gronwold and Howell shared assists with 13 for Gronwold and 10 for Howell.
On Sept. 26 Moorhead played Fargo Davies in Fargo and was only able to take one set out of four. Zimmerman again led Moorhead with 14 kills while Howell had 24 assists. On Sept. 28 the Spuds were victorious over Shanley, winning in three sets.
Moorhead plays Bemidji at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at Moorhead High.
