Moorhead defeats Fergus Falls in boys basketball

Moorhead High’s Trey Feeney goes up for two points during the Dec. 19 boys basketball home game against Fergus Falls. Feeney led the charge as the Spuds defeated the Otters 64-47.

Feeney led in scoring with 17 points, pulled down four rebounds and had three steals. Drew Hagen led Moorhead in rebounds with eight and contributed 14 points. Belind Alemadi added nine points and three steals, while Brady Walthall shot eight points and tallied five rebounds.

Moorhead will host the holiday tournament on Dec. 27-28 with teams from Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, Norman County East and Red Lake.
