We Are Proud Lee

February 25, 2020

We Are Proud of Jinu Lee, 7th-grade student at Horizon East Middle School, who placed first out of 100 participants in a local math competition, scoring a 20 out of 25 questions. Lee’s score ranked in the top five percent nationally of students who took the AMC 8. The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute multiple choice exam in middle school math designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. The math competition is coordinated at Horizon Middle School East Campus by Leigh Dornfeld.
