School Board appoints Cindy Fagerlie to board

At the Jan. 9 meeting, the Moorhead School Board voted to appoint former member Cindy Fagerlie to the board until a successor is elected. The appointment of the new school Board members comes after the resignation of Laurie Johnson at the end of December 2016 when she moved out of state.  Read More »

District and early learning program both receive recommendations for accreditation

After interviewing 207 stakeholders and visiting 48 classrooms, the six-member AdvancED external review team provided Moorhead Area Public Schools with a recommendation for accreditation at the end of the three-day review on Nov. 2. Red River ALC's vision is to partner with participating schools to assure that a continuum of programs and services are available to meet the unique needs of each student at-risk in the learning process. Since 1997 the Red River ALC has provided services to more than 3,000 students, K-12. Read more.
