School Board members take oath of office

On Jan. 14, School Board chair Scott Steffes led the oath of office ceremony for board members Keith Vogt, Rachel Stone and Kara Gloe. In November, Gloe, who was first elected in 2017 for a one-year term, was re-elected to her first four-year term. Stone and Vogt were elected to their first four-year terms on the board. Read More »

Moorhead Area Public Schools had its beginning in April 1873 when the Clay County Commissioners approved a motion to begin a school district in Moorhead. Welcome to Ellen Hopkins Elementary School! Hopkins Elementary School hosts a vibrant, multicultural community dedicated to meeting the needs of students through a structured curriculum and a variety of programs. It is our belief that education is a shared responsibility of our students, parents and staff working together. Hopkins Elementary is located in central Moorhead and has approximately 750 students in grades K-4 in both an English program and a Spanish Immersion Program (SI). Read more
