School Board approves calendar for 2015-16 school year

At its meeting on Feb. 23, the Moorhead School Board approved the calendar for the 2015-16 school year. Classes will begin Sept. 8, 2015. The last day of classes for students is June 2, 2016, unless additional emergency makeup days are needed. Read More »

Minnesota Education Commissioner hosting listening session on early learning on Feb. 26 in Moorhead

School Board accepts facilities master plan

At the Feb. 23 meeting, the Moorhead School Board accepted the facilities master plan with recommendations from Cuningham Group and the Facilities Master Planning Task Force to invest $78 million in the first phase of new construction and remodeling necessary to address student growth. District administration now must develop a prioritization and implementation plan, which will be brought to the School Board in the coming months.

Welcome to S.G. Reinertsen Elementary School! At Reinertsen Elementary, we ensure learning by using a results-oriented curriculum and instruction, by creating a culture of respect, acceptance and support for students in partnership with parents, and by establishing a professional learning community for staff that includes common goals and collaborative teams. Reinertsen Elementary in south Moorhead has an enrollment of 940, with kindergarten classes located at Probstfield Center for Education. Read more
