Moorhead Area Public Schools announces administration assignments for two new schools

Moorhead Area Public Schools has named principals for the new grades 5-6 school connected to Horizon Middle School and the new K-4 elementary school to be built southeast of Horizon. Both schools are scheduled to open for the 2017-18 school year.

Moorhead, DGF School Boards review proposed boundary adjustments legislation

At their Feb. 8 meetings, the Moorhead School Board and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School Board reviewed a revised boundary adjustment plan that is more equitable for both school districts. The boards will be asked to take action on the plan later this month. Read More »

Welcome to S.G. Reinertsen Elementary School! At Reinertsen Elementary, we ensure learning by using a results-oriented curriculum and instruction, by creating a culture of respect, acceptance and support for students in partnership with parents, and by establishing a professional learning community for staff that includes common goals and collaborative teams. Reinertsen Elementary in south Moorhead has an enrollment of 940, with kindergarten classes located at Probstfield Center for Education. Read more
