Horizon Middle School's activities program allows students to explore their interests and abilities, improve their skills, and learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. Horizon Middle School is committed to providing a well-balanced activities program that is available to all students. It is our hope that students participate in as many activities as they have the interest, time and energy to pursue.

Horizon has a variety of academic and special interest activities for students, including school newspaper, yearbook, Knowledge Bowl, Knowledge Master, Destination Imagination, Lego League, Student Council and Science Olympiad, along with intramural activities for grade 6 students.

Besides the regular band, choir, orchestra and theater classes, Horizon students have opportunities to be selected for and participate in Honor Choir, Honor Band, Jazz Band and the school play.
