Moorhead High homecoming king and queen crowned

Brian Hoffman, son of Colleen and Jerry Hoffman, and Lauren Cartwright, daughter of Shane and Anita Cartwright, were named Moorhead High School’s homecoming king and queen at coronation on Oct. 3.
Other members of the homecoming court are Brook Gronwold, daughter of Greg and Christa Gronwold; Emily Leier, daughter of Wes and Angie Leier; Sophie Newcomb, daughter of Mike Newcomb and Angelique Goulet; Brianna Schaub, daughter of Mike and Barb Schaub; Sarah Schulz, daughter of Angie and Brian Schulz; Brooke Tonsfeldt, daughter of Blayne and Becky Tonsfeldt; Allison Ulness, daughter of RoseAnn and Darrin Ulness; Kara Werth, daughter of Aaron and Darlene Werth; Lauren Zanotti, daughter of Amy and Frank Zanotti; Hunter Brandt, son of Steve and Tiffany Brandt; Eric Gibbons, son of Amy and Jared Gibbons; Sam Grove, son of Mark and Kim Grove; Devon Solwold, son of Gina Sandgren and Ross Solwold; Evan Bloom, son of Gary and Michelle Bloom; Joseph Grundstrom, son of Traci and Craig Grundstrom; Carter Howell, son of Chris and Christa Howell; Ryan Friesen, son of Cathi and Tim Friesen; and Jake Beedy, son of Todd and Jackie Beedy.
Moorhead High School’s homecoming parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7. The parade begins on 20th Street South at 24th Avenue South and will end at 12th Avenue South.
The homecoming football game against Willmar will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 with the dance following.
The Moorhead High School Hall of Honor induction ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct 8, at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
