Moorhead High Class of 2018 graduates June 3

June 7, 2018

The Moorhead High School Class of 2018 graduated June 3 during commencement at Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Nemzek Hall.

The Wind Ensemble under the direction of Pam Redlinger performed before playing the processional “Pomp and Circumstance.”

Opening remarks were made by Jasmine Ghauri and Moehmin Jaffal. Class speakers were Angeline Bahe, Alexis Dauner, Emma Estrella and Katie LeGare.

The Chorale under the direction of Kathie Brekke sang “In My Life” by John Lennon and Paul McCartney arr. Steve Zegree.

Principal Dave Lawrence presented the class for graduation, and the seniors received their diplomas from members of the Moorhead School Board. Lawrence reminded the graduates that “once a Spud, always a Spud.”

Closing remarks were made by Isabelle Rockstad and Annika Sethre-Hofstad before the Class of 2018 was dismissed.
