Moorhead girls hockey team splits games last week

The Moorhead High girls hockey team picked up its first win against Northern Lakes with a 3-1 victory in a game skated on an outdoor arena on Jan. 12. Moorhead’s record is 1-14-2 for the season.

The Spuds will play away games at 7 p.m. Jan. 18 against West Fargo, 6 p.m. Jan. 22, against  Roseau, 7 p.m. Jan. 24 against Detroit Lakes, and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 26 against Bemidji. They return home to take on Fergus Falls at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29. They host Brainerd at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31 and Warroad at 2 p.m. Feb. 2. Section play will begin Feb. 9.
