Register for Moorhead Community Education spring classes

The new Moorhead Community Education spring catalog, which mailed March 15, includes more than 200 learning opportunities for people of all ages and interests.
Spring and summer classes include The Age of Asparagus, Square Foot Gardening, Make Your Own Rain Barrel, and other home and garden classes; Windows 10, Microsoft Excel and other computer classes; Indian Cooking, cake decorating, and other cooking classes; dance, yoga, meditation, MELT and fitness classes; drawing, painting, woodcarving, calligraphy and other arts and music classes; wood sign painting, crochet, knitting and other craft classes; online classes you can take from home; writing and investment classes; genealogy classes; and Chinese Language and Culture, Beginning Birding, The History Behind the Play “5 Weeks,” and many more.
Youth classes include self-defense, video game design, Kung Fu Kids, elementary track camp, and more.
Choices classes for adults with disabilities include fitness, cooking, and arts and crafts classes.
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) began taking registrations for spring classes on March 15. Classes for parents and children ages infants through kindergarten entry include Family Connections, Keep Calm and Sign On, and Incredible Eggs. These ECFE classes and more are listed in the spring Parenting Press newsletter and Community Education catalog. Classes are open to all residents of Moorhead, Fargo, West Fargo and the surrounding area.
Moorhead residents and past participants receive a catalog in the mail. Moorhead residents with children ages birth to kindergarten entry who are on the school district census receive Parenting Press.
