Think About It

You don't know what it's like
To be like me
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you.

Time to Take it Seriously. Remember These Facts About Bullying

  1. Bullying is one of the most serious and pervasive challenges facing our schools.
  2. Other than losing a loved one, surveys indicate children view bullying as the worst experience of childhood.
  3. Victims of bullying carry lifelong scars and may experience anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and in some cases suicidal thoughts.
  4. Bullying also affects the bystander. Students who witness bullying often feel unsafe in school. Bullying changes the climate in school, distracting students from the schoolwork and impeding their ability to learn.
